Worth Abbey is a Roman Catholic Benedictine Monastery set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Turners Hill, Crawley. Founded from Downside Abbey in 1933 it has been an independent Monastic Community since 1957. Like all Benedictine monks, the monks of Worth Abbey place the public prayer of the Church at the centre of their lives especially through parish work and active support of the life of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. In addition to the monastery, the estate (owned by Worth Abbey) consists of some 500 acres accommodating a renowned private boarding school (Worth School, first established by the Abbey in 1993 and which today has around 600 boys and girls aged 11-18), houses, the Worth Abbey Church, retreat houses, a campsite, the Parish’s HQ, a farm and forestry operations.
An experienced individual is now sought for this new and exciting opportunity. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will assist the Abbey in developing and professionalising its out-of-term lettings programme through effective development and management of on-site lettings to the highest standards of service, operations and delivery.
